PTFE is a high-performance polymer known for its exceptional chemical resistance, high melting point, and excellent electrical insulation. It is virtually inert to almost all chemical reagents, including strong acids, bases, and organic solvents. With a continuous operating temperature ranging from –80°C to 260°C, PTFE is suitable for use in extreme thermal environments. In addition, it offers low water absorption, high thermal stability, and reliable mechanical properties—characteristics that make it an ideal material for a wide range of industrial applications. These unique properties set PTFE apart from other plastics, earning it the title of “Plastic King.”

PTFE hose consists of an inner PTFE tube and an outer metal mesh braid. The inner tube features a smooth surface and a low coefficient of friction, enabling excellent performance in fluid transfer and electrical insulation. The outer metal braid significantly enhances pressure resistance. Originally developed for defense and advanced technology applications, PTFE hose has since been widely adopted in civil industries.
